The ideal location would be in the wash-up area of a kitchen, storeroom, or covered bin area. The CR-15 runs off a standard 13-amp plug and requires ventilation to the outside or connection to a suitable waste pipe. The machine is manufactured of heavy gauge carbon steel and has a manual top loading door, where the food waste is loaded, and a front opening door used to harvest the compost every 10-14 days. The optional deodorizer actively treats exhaust air before releasing it into the atmosphere.
